ONE-DAY ACADEMIC SEMINAR 11th August, 2006. Our SAVE Chapter will hold a One-Day Academic Seminar titled “Equipping Nigerian Students towards facing future academic challenges”. It will take place on 11th August, 2006 by 10am at Abia State Polytechnic School Pavilion. You will be welcomed and recognized as you come. It is free and open to all. VIOLENCE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN/AWARENESS Our SAVE Chapter was able to reach to the adolescent's young adult students, and shared with them hand-bills which contain information on causes, consequences and prevention of violence in our various schools and communities. On the handbills, it was described that some of the most common modes of violence in higher institutions (Colleges) worldwide involves gangs, joining of cults, etc. Invitation forms where equally shared with people in order to join our chapter on campus. Members wore different kinds of cloths and attires just to draw the attention of the public. Our Academic Advisor (Mr. Zayon Nzegbulam), Head of Security, Deputy Rector , Registrar, etc where all happy when we got to their various offices.
